Another study on Americans' attitudes towards global warming from the Yale Project on Climate Change has been released. Classifying people's attitudes into six categories of concern and awareness, the study found that while nearly half believe strong action needs to be taken, the amount who think it's all a hoax has doubled. Interestingly though, nearly everyone supports regulating carbon dioxide as a pollutant:

Several issues smack me in the face when I read the article above:

1 - Since when is 39% considered almost half? Great reporting!

2 - "When asked if carbon dioxide should be regulated as a pollutant, as is being considered by the EPA, a majority of every group save the Dismissive support it.

91% of the Alarmed believe is should be done, 93% of the Concerned, 79% of the Cautious, 92% of the Disengaged, and 52% of the Doubtful. Only 15% of the Dismissive support CO2 regulation."

The Rant begins-
What kind of crap are you people reading, listening to, or watching. Or is it that you don't have any critical thinking brain cells. Or is your public education so bad that you don't know basic science!? Or do you just not give a damn!!??

CO2 is not harmful to any living organism on earth. Not people, not pets, not animals, not plants: NOTHING! It is not a pollutant! Do you realize that only 3% of the CO2 in the atmosphere is man made? Do you care?

Why should we destroy our economy and make spoiled brat Al Gore richer by passing cap and trade or letting the EPA regulate a harmless gas? Would you trust anyone from the government with your house, your kids, your bank account?

I'm glad that I'll be dead before most of this crap hits the fan. If you guys are intent on ruining America, keep believing these junk scientists who are in bed with the politicians who are in bed with Little Green (soon to be Big Green).

Do you think Obama's "green jobs" are going to help unemployment and save our economy? If you do you are either in a green business or an idiot. Think, if it doesn't hurt to much. The jobs created will not replace the jobs lost due to the destruction of the US economy. Obama says his crappy "green jobs" can't be outsourced to another country (a fact which I dispute). How about letting the oil companies drill for oil in the US again? Good paying jobs - can't be outsourced - shovel ready - start tomorrow.
